AMAZON SUSPENDS OPERATIONS WITH 21 AIR FOLLOWING MIAMI CARGO PLANE CRASH
Amazon has announced that it is temporarily suspending operations with cargo airline 21 Air following a serious accident at Miami International Airport in the United States.
On September 6, 2026, a Boeing 767-300 operated by 21 Air as part of the Amazon Air network crashed while landing at Miami International Airport. The aircraft subsequently collided with vehicles outside the runway area.

The accident resulted in five fatalities and five injuries. The U.S. National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) is continuing its investigation into the cause of the incident.
Amazon stated that the decision to suspend operations with 21 Air was made following its support for the investigation and a review of factors related to the incident. The company also emphasized that safety remains its top priority and that it will continue to cooperate with the relevant authorities.
