Transporting 22 Containers of Panels – Interlink’s Coordination Prowess
PROJECT OVERVIEW
- Client: Vinata Contractor
- Location: Thang Long II Industrial Park, Hung Yen
- Scale: 22 containers of Panels
- Execution Method: Divided into 4 delivery phases
- Timeline: May – July 2025
This is not merely a standard transport project, but a complex logistics puzzle. It demands seamless cross-departmental coordination, flexible problem-solving capabilities, and a steadfast commitment to Timeline – Cost – Quality.

KEY CHALLENGES
1. Stringent Technical Equipment Requirements The project demanded specialized 5–10 ton crane equipment for cargo unstuffing—a standard strictly monitored by Japanese partners. However, sourcing such specific equipment in Northern Vietnam proved to be nearly unfeasible at the time.
2. Pressure on Timeline and Cost The delivery schedule was set with zero margin for error. Meanwhile, every alternative solution carried the inherent risk of cost overruns or prolonged execution time.
3. Complex Customs Procedures * Constant Policy Shifts: Navigating frequently changing regulations.
- Institutional Mergers: Handling the administrative transition of merging Customs Departments.
- Massive Documentation: Managing project dossiers spanning hundreds of pages.
- Multi-party Coordination: Ensuring seamless communication between the Investor, Contractor, and International Partners.
4. External Risks from Nature and Operations * Documentation Delays: Shipping schedules postponed due to pending paperwork from Japan.
- Extreme Weather: Severe storms causing significant transport disruptions.
- Operational Constraints: Flooded construction sites rendering standard equipment unusable.

SOLUTIONS
Faced with a series of daunting challenges, the Interlink team demonstrated Flexibility – Creativity – Unwavering Commitment:
1. Optimizing Technical Solutions Instead of relying on hard-to-find specialized crane equipment, Interlink proposed a combined method using cranes and forklifts—ensuring safety, efficiency, and suitability for actual site conditions. This plan was successfully presented to and approved by the Site Management Board.
2. Proactive Customs Documentation Management Our dedicated team worked tirelessly, scrutinizing every detail and coordinating closely with the client and relevant stakeholders to finalize dossiers according to all requirements in the shortest possible time.
3. Agile Response to Field Conditions In the aftermath of a major storm, the construction site was too unstable for forklifts. Interlink immediately deployed a steel-plate flooring solution to create a stable pathway, ensuring construction progress stayed on track without incurring additional costs for the client.
4. Goal-Oriented Coordination The entire project was operated under a consistent pledge: “Ensuring Progress – No Incurred Costs – Meeting Quality Standards.”
CONCLUSION
More than just an operational success, this project stands as a testament to Interlink’s professional prowess, teamwork, and “Customer-Centric” culture.
Every challenge encountered on this journey was not merely overcome but served as a foundation for Interlink to further enhance its capabilities—affirming our position as a trusted logistics partner for large-scale and high-standard projects.
