Intersky Sales DepartmentWith enough patience and determination, even the most difficult doors will eventually burst open.
Four years, 80 calls, and a 1,000 m² contract
“Do you believe that with enough patience and determination, even the hardest doors can be flung open?” I believe so. And eight years in warehouse sales have taught me that success doesn’t come from luck, but from perseverance and the unwavering spirit to never give up.
Before, I was quite hot-tempered. Just one unanswered call or a cold rejection was enough to make me angry and annoyed. But the profession has instilled in me calmness. Sales isn’t for the impatient – here, patience is the weapon. Each rejection taught me self-control. Each failure taught me to wait for the right moment. And thanks to that, I’ve grown more mature every day.
Throughout that journey, there’s one story I’ll never forget: four years of persistence with one client. Many calls to maintain contact and check in with the client. Dozens of quotes. Countless times I hoped the deal would close, only to be disappointed. Others might consider it a waste of time, but I saw it as a long-term “training of willpower.” Because for me, sales isn’t just about selling a service, it’s about building trust.
And then, after four years of pursuing it, what I’d been waiting for finally arrived. The client signed a contract to rent a 1,000 m² warehouse. They said, “We chose you because you didn’t give up.” I understood they didn’t just choose me – they chose my company, Intersky, which has the resources, reputation, and professionalism to guarantee that trust. If perseverance is the key, then the strength and solid foundation of the company is the door through which clients enter. Even more commendable is that to this day, that client continues to partner with Intersky.
Over the past eight years, I’ve learned that sales figures are temporary, while trust is the lasting value. Clients won’t remember how many quotes you sent, but they will remember how you supported and persevered with them. And that trust, once given, will open up more opportunities than any contract.
The road ahead is certainly full of challenges. But I know I have enough courage not to give up, enough perseverance not to quit, and enough solid foundation from the company to go even further.
For me, sales is not just a job – it’s a journey of growth, learning to control myself and sowing seeds of trust to reap success.
