I’ve only been with Interlink for a little over three years, but in my heart, the company has truly become my “second home.” It’s not just my workplace, but also a place that nurtured and guided me from a young, inexperienced person into a sales employee who is increasingly confident, capable, and mature.
My entry into the Sales department was a major turning point in my life. At that time, I was guided and mentored by Ms. Lan – the Head of Department – and Mr. Tuan – the Deputy Head. To me, they are like older siblings in a family; they not only taught me how to work but also showed me how to live and how to maintain my passion for the profession. In particular, I will always remember the guidance of Mr. Khanh – the General Director of the company. I know his work schedule is very busy, but he always takes the time to directly train us, share his experience, analyze real-world cases, and motivate the entire Sales team to improve. For me, it was a huge encouragement, showing that at Interlink, from the top leadership to every single employee, everyone is truly supportive and there’s no distance between us. It was Mr. Khanh’s closeness, dedication, and clear guidance that helped us become more confident and resilient in facing the challenges of the profession.
I remember very clearly the day I graduated, I was full of aspirations and ambitions. But along with that enthusiasm came numerous limitations: shyness in communication, self-consciousness because of my small voice, lack of practical experience, and a lack of skills in dealing with customers or handling unexpected situations. Many times, I feared I wasn’t capable enough to pursue this challenging path. But Interlink gave me opportunities and patiently honed my skills every day. The initial training sessions were invaluable. I learned everything from fundamental knowledge of logistics to soft skills such as presentation, customer service, and teamwork. It wasn’t just theory; I also got hands-on experience: meeting clients with my colleagues, preparing quotations, creating proposals… The first time, I was nervous presenting to clients. But I always had my colleagues observing, supporting, and giving feedback. Thanks to that, I gradually overcame my fear and felt myself growing more mature.
My most memorable experience was the first time I encountered a serious “trouble.” It was when an unexpected problem arose with a shipment. I was truly panicked, my heart racing, not knowing where to begin. But instead of reprimands, I received support from the entire team: my colleagues in the department, the documentation department, and the agency department all sat down together to analyze the situation and find the optimal solution to both resolve the problem and minimize additional costs for the client. In that moment, I realized that at Interlink, I am never alone. The spirit of “when one person faces difficulties, the whole team helps” has become my guiding principle throughout my journey.
In the logistics industry, risks and incidents are unavoidable. But thanks to those lessons, I understand that the value of a salesperson doesn’t lie in avoiding difficulties, but in knowing how to face them, find ways to handle them, and stand firm after the storm. Interlink taught me that in every situation, we must always have 2-3 options ready to advise customers. More importantly, we must advise with truth, dedication, and responsibility. This helps customers feel secure when working with Interlink, and I myself have learned professionalism – something indispensable for long-term success.
Interlink has given me more than just a job. It has given me close teammates who are like family. There were days when sales pressure weighed heavily, with urgent shipments, and times when I felt tired and discouraged… but just seeing everyone’s spirit of unity gave me renewed motivation. At Interlink, everyone is willing to share, support, and not keep their experience to themselves, but grow together. Thanks to the company’s wealth of over 23 years of experience and the close guidance of the leadership, I’ve always been able to learn and significantly shorten the time it takes to grow.
For me, Interlink is not just a workplace, but also a place that taught me how to overcome my own limitations. From a shy, insecure young person, I now dare to stand before customers, dare to offer solutions, and take responsibility for my decisions. I feel happy to be in an environment where every challenge becomes a lesson, and every difficulty becomes an opportunity for growth.
Looking back on these three years, I feel truly fortunate to have been a part of Interlink. Here, I’m not just working, I’m truly living, learning, and growing every day. And I believe my journey has only just begun. With Interlink – my second home – I will continue to move forward, continue to achieve new successes, in the spirit that we are always proud of: “Partnership to Success”.
